its so hot out...

im not used to this weather in may...ug. i need ice cream.

in other news, we had a spanish test today. i think i did pretty well.it was almost fun. almost. it was a test, so it wasn't fun.

latley i've been listening to 'the sea of monsters', by rick riodan. i got the chance to meet him last night. it was the best. it wasn't as crowded as the time i met Erin Hunter, but it was still fairly busy. i'd geuss about 60 people. while i wait to talk to him and get my books signed, i read comics  at the book store.
it was really fun, and all the other kids were really excited. i noticed some parents had read the books, and were also pretty excited. all in all, it was great.

and school was cool today as well. my english/history teachers are a team, and the decided it was too hot to work, so after 30 minutes of note taking on athens and sparta and crete, we started watching juno.
tomorrow their gonna watch blood diamond, and im going to the library, and get some reading done. im cool with that, id much rather hang on the comp, or read some fruits basket or warriors, or sea of monsters than watch a movie. not like i get a choice, its rated 'r', and thats one thing mom's strick about.

i bet im the only 9th grader in my school that still has, and uses on a weekly baisis, a casset player. i brought it to school today, so i copuld listen to this one audio book that the library only has in tape form, and about 10 people(students) are al like 'whats that?' so i explain it to them, and there like 'why don't you use an i pod' so i tell em that i have an i pod, but the batteries dead, and i havent put much one it anyway. i prefer cds and tapes anyway. but the looks the gave it were hilarious. and the spell check thing refuses to work, so yeah.

this was a very upbeat post. if only all of mine could be that way. i get the feeling that pretty soon the'rll be a pretty dark one....
anyway, more later

Our weather has been downright freezing for this time of year. It's really odd.

Hey, I still use a cassette player too! Glad you had a good day. I should have been nicer to my students and let them go early instead of making them slave away about eclipses, tides, and space travel.

Hey, Anna. That wasn't Jed and Marie on the last post - that was Aunt Pat! They had been on my computer and I didn't catch that their name popped up for user identity.....

emmza, nice hearing from ya.
no, its one voice, and not a good one. annabeth sounds really malle ish, and clarisse? if they never said her name, i'd think she wasn't part of the story, the voice is so male.
plus someone messed with the tape, its old, so it sounds all warbled, like if we moved the chipmunker on mine around, only it goes way low, to sorta low, to way low. annoying. but hey.
