school and the library-anna's ticked.

yeah, I'm ticked. here is why
one: the library.
OK, now, I'm not against libraries, i LOVE libraries, but the thing is, the ppl that order book don't seem all that smart.
here's the thing, : they get most adult books, particularly if by a 'good' or 'well liked' author, within weeks (or days) of the books release. however, for teens and kids, unless the book is something like 'harry potter' or something as famous as that (so many books i can think of are more enjoyable, but no one asked me... hold it, they should get KIDS to pick the books that kids are going to read , I'll come back to this later) then expect about 6 months too over a year, if ever, for the book to make an appearance. take, for example, the warriors, my fave book series; the library only just got a copy of book 12, and its already been out for a year+.
moving on, i was browsing in the paperback-kids section, and to my annoyance, i found books 1 and 2 of a trilogy (yes, it is a trilogy) that looked very good. well, i thought, there are 4 places the third book might be ( and yes, book three has come out.)
i looked in the kids paperback, the kids hardcover, the young teens paperback, and the young teens hardcover. nothing. i figure, 'oh, its been checked out. nope! the library never had it, nor any of the near by branches. so much for that trilogy. i move on.
now, you may think I'm over reacting, but this has happened with about 4 other series's. in other series A: book one and three, no record of book 2; in B: books 2,3,4, no record of book one (how freaking lame is that!!!)
in C, once again, books 1 and 3, no book two.
i swear, the library is in league with all the book-sellers that charge way-y-y to much for a book.

one to school :here's why
the school system of my city, or at least the high school, decided that , instead if having a 11 week summer break like, oh, idk, all my out of city friends and family, we get a nine weeks, with our 'extra' weeks at thanksgiving and president's day. yeah.
what the H-E-double toothpick is vacation for other than to spend time with friends and family. how can we do that if they (or we) are in freaking school?!!!! wanna know why? its this : apparently, some teachers have been taking off for vacations those weeks/ around that time. so, thanks to this, I won't get much time to hang out with one of my best friends, who i ONLY see in summer, and is at camps half the time. this STINKS!!!! i mean, in, say, the MIDDLE OF FEBRUARY, you can't exactly go swimming, or to the freaking beach. yeah, go snowboarding. but what about those of us who hate the cold?! and by next year, who knows if we'll have any snow. (mother nature must be getting pretty ticked at us by now) just means more stupid Homework they can give us. (my question of the week' why is it that kid's/teen's intelligence based on what we know about say, a bunch of dead guys? why not on how we can help the environment, or our thoughts on how we can work on not helping history repeat??? I'm speaking, of course, about history/social studies. still, why?') anyway, my opinion : THIS STINKS!!!!!!

samson of the flaming foxs.

today in my lovely, insane(!) church class, we learned about a guy who had 71 brothers. and he killed all of them, but his littlest brother, who cursed him...then we learned about Samson. anyone who hasn't heard the story really should hear it from Mr. mike. his facile expressions are priceless.....
anyway, so this guy is 'blessed by the Lord (why i don't know.)' and is really strong. he never shaves or cuts his hair(ewwww!) and kills a lion with his bare hands. one day he falls in love with a Philistine girl, and then after marring her tries to Con a bunch of ppl. she betrays him and he leaves her. she gets with his old bff, and when he comes back he gets really ticked. what he does next, the SPCA would have a Field day with.
now, it would at least make sense for the idiot to kill the guy. but no. he gets 300 Foxes, lights their tails on fire, and sets them loose in the grain and crop Fields.
his father in law and old wife are killed for it after he flees. he kills about a 1000 men ( or just one, and gets caught. but he escapes
now, once again, he falls in love, and this one gets bribed into finding out why he's so strong. he tells her a lie, and ends up killing a ton of ppl. this happens three times.( around now, tonydee says, half asleep, 'let him go on his killing spree. he's not hurting anything...')
finally after playing the l word 'i thought you loved me....' he tells her his secret. he gets caught, and his hair gets cut away, leaving him weak.
they put his eyes out, and after a while decide to torment him...his hair grows back, and he brings down a house packed with ppl. killing them and him...
now that was interseting!!

me again. wait, who else would it be?
you may be wondering why i;m posting during school, during class period. let me explain.
as some ppl who know me may know, i don't watch 'R' rated movies. since my class is watching on, i get to skip class and hang out in the school library. its pretty fun, but since you tube is blocked, i can't spend my 2 hours here watching digimon, so im posting here. i know, im kinda sorta lame....

yeah, i know. i don't have a cool title today.... deal with it.

so today is....Wednesday.... i have one final, and two hours to kill right now, during photo class. I'm kinda worried about the final, cause its a presentation, one that no one in my 'group' is ready for. but other than that, life's cool. seminary today was fun. we learned about this prophetess named ...its on the tip of my tongue ...Deborah and this guy named Gideon, who raised up an army and did some cool fighting even though he was just a farmer.
in between lessons, tonyd, genun,layna ,zary and i told jokes, made silly noises, and i taught layna a german swear word......it was fun!

saturday-finaly!

it's Saturday at last! i got up early to see 'magi-nation' one of my favorite TV shows. yes its is a carton, but i like it anyway. i would have slept in, but due to a TV problem, we can't tape anything, and i really like the show. so i got up early. after TV, and cleaning my oh so messy room, now very clean, i listened to the audio book, the blue sword, sequel to the hero's crown. i like it, but as i listened, i made a very bad mistake in my weaving and had to start over! now the house is almost spotless, though it smells of *takes deep breath* hazelnut, lemon wood polish, musty chairs, tile cleaner and photography chemicals. oh, hang on, that last one's coming from my sweater....must have spilled yesterday. oops! now i must stop and rescue Stupid Cat from Other Stupid Cat, also known as Lucy and Walker.

science, soda, and screams

so today, though i am not proud of it, i got in an 'altercation' at school.during class, a very annoying boy kept hitting me with a newspaper, and calling me names. when he called me an alcoholic(i think it has something to do with my caffeine free soda, i don't get it either) i um, erupted, and splashed the soda on his jacket.
i repeat, i am not proud of what i did. it was not fun. but he also said a number of unrepeatable things to me, so i feel justified.

in other news, i finished 3 of my 6 finals for this semester, my English, history, and photography. i also completed listening to an audio book that has taken my almost 3 weeks, 'the hero and the crown', and began the sequel. last night was my twin brother Tcm's orchestra final. also known as, a concert, that yours truly got to attend. it was interesting, but if you ask me, I'd rather tone a black and white photograph than play the violin!
tomorrow all of my mother's violin students are having a recital- in our house. this means i get to clean my room. lucky me. somehow though, fate was kind, and my mothers friend, P-Shaw, aka, Aunt Pat (she's not really my aunt, but she well as might be.) is taking Tcm and me to her house for the day, so that we can have some peace. YAY! escape the violins!

after my sugar rush....oh oh!

so, i had a not so healthy lunch. a soda and a candy bar, and a ham sandwich. plus a bag of chips.
so I'm a bit hyper, cause sugar kills my normal hyperness, so I'm less hyper than normal. most ppl do not see me as hyper as i can be. only my cousins, emmza and laralu, have seen my as hyper as i can be!

i just finished a very good trilogy, the door with in, by WT Baston.
i have to return them to my friend, shayla, but i plan on getting my own copies soon.

as ben franklin once said

i suspect i will fall under that first catagory, but i wish i would be in the second.

seminary.

so im a mormon. and, because i'm a high school student, i get to go to-yay!(not)-seminary
that means i get up at 5:00 am to go to a church class monday through friday. not fun.
my twin brother sleeps the whole thing through i however, must have had too much hot chocolate, because i was very crazy. i have fun at seminary though, because those of us who are AWAKE, namely me, and my friends, genun and his brother zary, discuss wacky facts and questions sometimes not so relevent to the topic, much to the anoyance of Mr. Mike, our teacher.
but still.
today we were suposed to talk about Joshua. insead, the subject of a pure world, and dead hamsters came up. don't ask.
but all in all, its a regular laugh fest.

talentshow...

so after school today i had an audition for the school talent show. i was one of the first one's to audition, and i was pretty nervous. i went in, and the judge ppl were impressed that i was going to try, and i was a freshman. i sang the first verse of 'brother, my brother' from the first Pokemon movie.(yes, i have been obsessed with that movie since i was 6 years old...) and they stopped me and said that they didn't need to hear anymore, i was definitely in. i was SO happy. finally someone enjoys my singing . (not that i stink, I'm actually very good, but my brother hates all singing, so when i sing...u get the idea.)
